Gentlemen: Can your dance moves capture a woman's heart?

The answer is YES, if you've got the right moves.

In a recent study conducted by Psychologists at Northumbria University in England, doctors filmed 19 volunteer men dancing. None of the men were professional dancers. Using a 12-camera set up with electrodes to map the men's dance movements, the researchers turned each man into a solid white figure on a plain background for a panel of heterosexual women to review.

What did the study show? It revealed that women were more attracted to men who moved in certain ways. Apparently, the bigger and more flamboyant the moves the more the women responded positively. The ladies especially liked greater movement in the right knee, head and torso.

The TV show "The Doctors" had a little fun with this study on Friday's episode. (aired Oct. 29th 2010) They brought in two professional dance judges and all three of the male doctors showed off their best dance moves. See who the best dancing doctor is and why.

Soooo, do you have bad moves or good moves? Check out the videos the female study panelists determined to be bad dancing and good dancing.  Is your dancing too reserved to excite your date? How can you improve your moves? All it takes is confidence! Try out some bigger more confident moves. Learn to shake your hips, swivel that right leg and body roll your head, neck and torso.

If you can't learn it on your own, contact me for dance lessons today.
